At Urban Think Tank, I worked on the design team for the main exhibition in the Utrecht Biennale for Art + Architecture 2009. The proposal was an urban design for the neighborhood of Hoograven, specifying catalytic “hot spots” of housing, market, park, and sport facilities. Below are my main contributions.

FlatForm wall installation by Marble Fairbanks Architects, where I worked as a design / build team member. This installation is a self-sustaining wall system where surface, pattern, and structure are parametrically linked, forming flat metal sheets into a self-supported wall. Flatform combines the constraints of material properties and pre-manufactured sizes with the flexibility of digital production processes to explore new logics of design and assembly.

Below is an installation of the Trusset, a space frame system developed by Phillip Anzalone and Cory Clark. Mark Collins and Toru Hasegawa developed a parametric space frame software, which formed the system of nodes, each having up to 8 connecting strut elements. Skin applications and details were developed by the design/assembly team, which I took a part.
